Brian Pinto, MPA, CFRE
Assistant Vice President of Major & Planned Giving
Brian Pinto joined the development team at Albright College in December 2009, where his responsibilities include building and strengthening relationships with leadership donors and prospects to advance Albright’s mission. Prior to that, he specialized in major and planned gifts for Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries as well as special event, corporate, and foundation management for aging network providers in South Florida. Brian received his B.A. in English from Rowan State College and his master’s degree in public administration from DeVry University. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his 2 beagles, Buddy and Nemo.
Christy Agnese
Vice President for Advancement
Christy Agnese joined the development team at Albright College in July 2016. Her responsibilities include working with donors to structure gift plans that best meet donor intent, furthering the mission of the College, and overseeing a comprehensive donor relations program. In addition, she serves as the department’s liaison to Athletics. Before moving to Berks County, she worked at Ithaca College in the School of Music overseeing their operations and external relations efforts, as the executive director for Habitat for Humanity in Tompkins and Cortland Counties, and at The Philadelphia Orchestra in education and development. She received her B.A. in music from Ithaca College and her M.S. in arts administration from Drexel University. A graduate of the HERS Women’s Leadership Institute and Leadership Berks, she currently serves on the Ithaca College Alumni Association Board of Directors, Pennsylvania American Council on Education (PA ACE) Women’s Network Executive Board of Directors, and Association of Fundraising Professionals of Berks County National Philanthropy Day Committee.
Ralia Vardaxis
Assistant Vice President of Alumni & Donor Engagement
Ralia Vardaxis joined the development team at Albright College in February 2011, where her responsibilities include building and strengthening relationships with leadership donors and prospects to advance the College’s mission. Prior to that, she managed the community relations function for Wachovia Bank in Central Pennsylvania, until joining the Reading Symphony Orchestra, leading their development efforts. Ralia is an Albright alumna from the Class of 1987, who received her B.A. in English-Communications and German. She is active in the Reading community having served as Board President for Berks Arts Council and currently a member of the Board of Directors for the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts.
Andy Baumbach
Leadership Gifts Officer
Andy Baumbach joined the development team at Albright College in June 2013, where his responsibilities include identifying, building and strengthening relationships with parents, alumni and friends to advance Albright’s mission. In addition, he serves as the department’s liaison with athletic fundraising. Prior to arriving at Albright, Andy worked at various colleges and universities as a development professional, including Syracuse and Villanova Universities. He received his BS in public relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a M.Ed. from Temple University.
